Dino Daycare & Preschool handles students between the ages of two years to five years old. We have a separate educational specialist for each age. Located in National City, CA, we use the Reggio Emilia approach to early childcare and education and the Program for Infant and Toddler Caregivers (PITC).
Principles of the Reggio Emilia Approach
The image of the child: Children are seen as capable, curious and creative. Your children are seen as natural researchers as they always question what they see.
Relationship: Children learn when they interact with their peers and adults in a warm and friendly environment.
Helping children reach their potential
Role of parents: Parents are a highly important part of their children’s learning experience.
Environment: A child learns to communicate and form relations with others if the layout of physical space is good. In our program, we work toward meeting the fundamental needs of infants and toddlers. These needs include close and caring relationships, connection to family, health and safety, and responsive caregivers.
