Classroom rules and Policy

•  Use kind words and gentle hands – No hitting, pushing, or unkind words.
• Listen to the teacher – Follow instructions and pay attention during activities.
• Raise your hand to speak – Wait your turn instead of interrupting.
• Share and take turns – Be fair and patient with toys and supplies.
• Clean up after yourself – Put toys and materials back in their place.
• Walk, don’t run – Stay safe inside the classroom.
• Use indoor voices – No yelling or shouting inside.
• Be respectful – Treat friends, teachers, and the classroom with care.
• Try your best – Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn.
• Ask for help when needed – Teachers are there to support you! 

✅ Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing
✅ Closed-toe shoes for safety (sneakers preferred)
✅ Easy-to-remove clothing for bathroom breaks (no complicated buttons or belts)

🚫 No flip-flops, sandals, or shoes with heels
🚫 No costumes or distracting accessories (unless for special events)
🚫 No jewelry that can be lost or cause injury

 🚫 Toys from home (unless for show-and-tell)
🚫 Candy, gum, or unhealthy snacks
🚫 Electronic devices (tablets, phones, or smartwatches)
🚫 Small items that could be choking hazards
🚫 Any item that could cause distractions or disruptions 

•  Be on time – Drop off and pick up your child on schedule.
• Label personal items – Help prevent lost belongings.
• Communicate with teachers – Share concerns, allergies, or special needs.
• Encourage independence – Allow your child to practice self-help skills.
• Reinforce classroom rules at home – Consistency helps with learning.
• Send appropriate snacks and lunches – Follow any school dietary policies.
• Keep sick children at home – To prevent the spread of illness.
• Participate when possible – Volunteer for events or classroom activities.
• Read school newsletters and updates – Stay informed.
• Be a role model – Show respect and patience when interacting with teachers and staff.
